York County ARC Winter Field Day

The York County Amateur Radio Club will be operating a Winter Field Day station. We will be operating throughout the two-day event and invite young and old to participate and "Get on the Air" with us. Come and experience the fun of radio communications.
The Buxton & Hollis Rod & Gun Club offers a heated indoor facility with restrooms, full kitchen, and plenty of parking.

YCARC sponsors five Packet nodes on the MEPN mainepacketradio.org which connects many of the Maine County EMA offices as a backup network in critical events of natural disasters and other civil emergencies. Connections are made through a local VHF station and messages are automatically forwarded through the UHF network to the final addressee.
